Fuel Pump?

I just got a "new" '79 240... a wonderful brown sedan w/no extras, low milage... and in very nice condition all around.

But on the way home... she lurches rather violently, seems to get worse the harder I step on the gas. Fuel pump seems most likely.. but Im a bit curious if it could be the fuel pump relay. Sometimes I noticed a "clicking" sound right before it lurched, coming from down low in the passenger side under the dash...

Where is the fuel pump relay again?? (its been a while for me since I messed with that). Is the fuel pump relay alone likely to cause this sort of behavior?

Thanks! - Dan B
