Upper strut mount bearings 700

I had been listening to a groaning, or creaking, sound coming from the left front side of my 745 for a couple of months when I was turning at slow speeds. I suspected the upper strut mount bearing and this weekend I had the time to investigate. The original bearing was made by INA in Germany, and had a total of 16 ball bearings in it. It refused to turn, and was sliding against the rubber of the upper strut mount. It is a light color, kind of a dirty white, and shown on the right hand side of the attached pictures.

The used SKF bearing (which I installed) had 46 ball bearings and is orange in color. It appears to be a much superior product.

I strongly recommend using the SKF bearing over the INA bearing.
