Solder to the rescue...

Wife parks the '91 740 yesterday and says, "Gee, the steering's hard."

No fluid.

I add some.

And it squirts out the bottom just as fast. Well, almost as fast.

One of the banjo fittings at the rack is pouring the fluid (hi pressure side). The damned thing had rusted through.

My motto is "resolder, resolder, resolder."

So I did.

And it works fine.

I love these $0 repairs.
