Error Code from On-Board Diagnostic 200 1990

Turn your key to KII, the warning lights should be on and the engine not operating.
In this position, you should be able to verify the illumination of the warning / caution / notification dash lights.

You could also force the "check Engine light" to illuminate by disconnecting the AMM and starting the engine, as well as various other system malfunctions that will triger the "check Engine Light" to illuminate.

Do not discconnect the AMM with the Key on or the engine running. Sometimes a transient voltage spike or short could occur and damage the ECU.
