Do I need spacers? 200

I've got some aftermarket wheels on my '88 240 that I pulled from a 740.

They fit fine except that I can't use the old wheel alighning spokes that screws into the rotor hub. I tried putting little bolts in the holes to hold in the hub, but the wheels wouldn't fit flat with the bolts there.

So now my setup doesn't include anything in the hub and just the wheel and lug nuts, but I get some noise when I go over bumps.

I've looked for play....(have replaced ty-rod ends, ball joints, and rear a-arm bushings) Everything seems tight except there seems to be a little play at the rotor hub.

I've heard about people having spacers. Is that somehing I need so I can use those bolts to hold the hub tight before putting on the wheel? Or am I looking at something totally different?.....it's odd, because I seem to only get the noise from the drivers front wheel.

Thanks in advance.
