Any use Koni's on a 700? 700

I'm going to get rid of my Bilsteins as they are not suited to LA streets and freeways. Much too harsh at low speeds and bumpy freeways. I have heard that Koni's are much better at low speeds. Either Koni's or I go to Boge Turbo Gas equivalents from Sachs. However I had these before an at times found them too soft to my liking. As far as The Bilstein TC's, I tried a set at the rear and found them to be as stiff as the Bilstein HD's around town. So I'm hoping someone can give me their opinion on Koni's on a 740.
