M41 OD Support 444-544

The standard PV crossmember consists of a boxed sheet metal crossmember that goes under the middle of the tranny case, bolting to either side of the tunnel. It has a "U" shaped arm that reaches back from the middle of the crossmember back to the bushing style rear mount - which bolts in between the arms. I figured that if the weight were to great for the "U" arms they would just sag slightly and the trans case would rest on the crossmember. At which point I would notice the added vibration and work on a better solution.

It is different from 122/140 mounts in that the front motor mounts are vertical and the engine is not pushed backwards and counterbalanced by a forward facing rear mount.
