Rewiring a tailgate for '89 240 wagon

Hey something I actually know something about... 245 is the old designation for the wagon 2= 200 series 4= 4 cylnder engine 5= 5 doors... so your 89 is actually a 245.. Volvo kinda messed it up when they put 4 cylnders in the 760 but that is still how most folks refer to them. So to answer your question ...yes they should fit. as far as the rest I have never ordered from ipd..yet, but hear nothing but good things about them, I'll bet a quick phone call to them would sort out weather or not they are crimped...I just pulled mine out and ran them through the little holes on the inside of the tailgate then spliced them back under the headliner... on both of mine... you can see them if you are looking for them but they don't look that bad, and I did not have to mess with the hinges.
