Opinion - Elring German red Cam/crank seals 700

Has anyone used Elring german seals that are reddish in color for the Cam/Intermediate and crank seals? I know John S recently stated that the shop he uses recommend aftermarket cam/int. seals but Volvo/Viton Crank seals. However, my mechanic could only source the Elring ones on short notice this weekend. I will be installing them tomorrow but may hold off if this seals sucks the big one. Thoughts, experiences??
