Driveshaft spline boot. Different diameters? 700 1988

I'm trying to determine if there are two different driveshaft diameters used on '88 745ts. There is a boot that slips over the splines behind the center support bearing and mine needs replacement. The part I received was # 3549771 but looks too small in diameter to fit either over the splines or stretch over the lip on the female splines at the bearing. The supplier is showing only one part number.

Realizing mine may be a little stretched, here's the measurements from the two parts.

Old (original?) 1 1/2" id of large opening (goes over the female splines,) and 1/18" id opening to fit over the male splines.

Part # 3549771 measures 1 1/8" and 7/8" respectively. Overall diameter is smaller too.

Anyone know of another part number?
