Hmmm. If the crank turned at all, the engine is not frozen.

The amount of turning is not clear to me. If you turned the camshaft through 180 degrees (or almost) then the crank should have turned through almost 360 degrees, right? Is this what happened?

It would be nice to check compression in the cylinders. There is a way, I think. Requires having the cam shaft moving separate from the crank.

Pull the plugs. Rotate the camshaft so that #1 valves are both closed. Put a gauge or a finger into #1 plug hole while moving the crank. You should get either a vacuum or pressure.

Do for each cylinder. If there is one with neither vacuum or pressure, it is suspect for a non-closing or burned valve, or a holed piston, or something like that. If they are all good, hooray. Maybe it's a bum thing in the clutch area, like a bolt fell loose.
