mount replacement order 200 1980

The floor jack would probably work although it might get in the way since it is larger. Use a block of wood between the jack and the pan and don't apply pressure on the drain plug! You need to be very careful to not let the engine drop. I loosen both mounts but only unbolt and replace one at a time. I found it easier to take out the mount and bracket together. I still think the best way to hold the engine would be with a holder beam laid across the engine compartment. There are plans somewhere on this site, maybe in the FAQs.
