New to emission testing 140-160

Emissions requirements vary depending on location. Even within the U.S., it varies from state to state, and in the case of my state (Georgia) it varies from county to county. Some people that live in the metropolitan area, but also own vacation homes in the mountains, will register their vehicles to the mountain address in order to circumvent the stringent requirements.

In most fairly populated areas of the U.S., it is probably safe to say that pre-75's are actually being measured for emissions.

In your case, it will probably be a "wait and see" thing as to what will be required.
