Fire Extinguisher

Don't put it under the seat!
Attach it firmly, or contain it, but don't let it get loose, or you'll find it either on top of the gas pedal or under the brake pedal at the worst time.
Most readily available extingushers are dry chemical, which are, IMHO, quite inefective for automotive use.
I prefer Halon(and it's replacements) or FireAde (http://www.fireadesource.com/), also available from ipd. These are small enough to fit in the glove box.
