Sputter-sputter-pop-pop (engine management problem) 700 1989

Rule out intake manifold gasket. That's new, too.

Explain more about the O2 sensor. Do you know anything about this "open loop/closed loop" business theat mechanic might have been talkig about?

When driving, it feels like an ignition [problem, rather than fuel (ex. fuel starvation,, etc.)

Also, the sputtering only occurs when cornering left!

I do know the Hall effect sensor plastic clip is broken, so, it is hanging loose from the back of the distributor by its wires.
