leaking 240Ti transmission cooler line(s) 200 1983

Hi!

Now that hurricane clean-up is winding down here (Yorktown VA), I've been able to find the elusive trans-fluid leak on our 240 turbo--it appears to be "oozing" fluid from under the mounting block that ties the two lines together where the engine and trans join. I figure that 20 years of good vibrations must have worn the line(s) through . . .

I was originally going to replace the worn section of line(s) with some trans hose, but a friend in NC has offered a "slightly used" set of lines from a 91 240 at a good price (free). While I'm always up for a road-trip, I'd like to make sure the newer lines will fit the 83 turbo before I head down there this weekend. Any BTDT's (or other suggestions)?

Thanks in advance!

Steve Anderson
