Is it ok to use ATF? I read somewhere on this board that the detergents/etc. in the ATF are good for conditioning the piston seals. When I had the head off the piston had some play and could be rocked back and forth in the bore. She had some good piston slap when running. The time I oiled the pistons was when she ran the longest. I need to re-re-test the fuel system more thoroughly then probably replace the FPR and reoil the cylinders and try and restart. I don't think it is getting enough fuel and the compression is crappy. I'll need to check the injector seals as the injectors went in with dificulty, which I'll pull the check FPR and the operation of the injectors.
