Hi,

I bought an alternator for my beloved '79 245. Two miles later, the car died...and, seeing as there were several other problems with her, i decided to put her to sleep rather than take it to the shop. (Sob...) I bought a beautiful '89 today....

My question: I had the presence of mind to pull the new alternator from the '79 before junking it. The jackasses at the parts store would not let me return it. My idea is that maybe I should just put the alternator on eBay.

Question: This thing is heavy...would anyone care to estimate a shipping price?
