242 wont run--a no fuel problem 200

Hi-This problem is driving me crazy. My 82 242 died last week . Checked -have spark--seemed like a no fuel problem. Checked fuses-tried new fuel pump relay-changed in tank pump and fuel filter. I bought a new fuel pressure regulator-couldnt find anything on the car like what I got--went back and got a second regulator-as the parts place showed two numbers for the year. The two regulators I picked up-look like nothing on the car. I can tell you that if starting fluid is sprayed into the intake manifold--the car will run momentarily. The car has the b21 with the chrysler ignition with the white dist cap. I cant beleive that a car only 17ft in lentgh has 32 ft a vacumn line-non being over 6inches in length--any guidance as what to look into next would be appreciated--thanks
