Towing my 242 200

Hello All,

It's that time of year again to put toys back in storage to avoid the ravages of winter. My 82 242 GLT with a 3 spd auto tranny has to be brought about 80 km (50 miles) north to my brother-in-law's place. I was going to rent/borrow a trailer dolley to do it. I'm wondering if I leave the rear wheels on the ground if that's going to hose the tranny. Not that I care too much because I am going to switch it to a manual shift as part of the resto on it, but I would like it to remain driveable.

Happy Bricking!!!

Richard
