2 questions: power locks / light out 'warning' lamp 200 1992

Just picked up a new-to-me 92 244 this weekend (prior volvos include an 83 245 that I inherited as my first car at 16 with ~175K, a 94 850 that my parents talked me into which I hated, and then an 84 245 Turbo bought in a moment of weakness that turned into many moments of pain).

Anyway the 92 has 153K and I bought it for $2800. It needs some maintenance, but I'm willing to put some money in to get her spruced up.

I don't want to spend money on these 2 minor problems, though, and I wonder if anyone has any suggestions on what they might be:

1. The power locks work great as long as you are locking the car. The unlock feature doesn't do a thing when I pull up on the driver's lock knob or unlock with the key.

2. The burned out light warning lamp comes on when the parking lights are on and when the headlights are on. there are no burned out lights. any suggestions as to why I'm getting a false posititive here?

thanks in advance
