Plug fouling 140-160 1970

Howdy all... Having more cold start problems.. this time with the hot rod 145. Seems every morning, it fouls 1 or more plugs. Of course, the best solution would be to properly sort the carbs and chokes, but... I really ain't keen on messing with them DCOE webers that otherwise work great.

I'm using the basic Bosch "Super" copper core plugs, which have worked the best for me in the past with fouling troubled cars. Is there perhaps a different plug type I should try? Or perhaps a wider gap (or narrower)? Or, might a hotter coil help? Or should I just change and/or clean my plugs every week... Any other suggestions?

It ain't too bad yet, but... it ain't too cold yet.

Thanks,
Matt
