SU for a 142 140-160

Either the HS6 or the HIF6 are quite straightforward. Both George and I are agreed that the HIF is a great carb with some advantages over the HS series. For the 71 the HIF is correct, although either can be made to work without much trouble.

Either SU pair will make more power than the downdraft Weber, and in good shape will perform the same at idle, or very nearly so.
