164E - intank filter? 140-160 1975

My guess is that if you don't have the plug, you probably don't have the
filter either.

What you can do is run it nearly out of gas, pull the fuel level sender
and look in there with a flashlight. (Take the masonite floor out of the
trunk - it's under there.)
