Coolant leak at the resorvoir? 900

Hey xallenx, that hose is about $70 US from the dealer, no kidding!! I'm putting off the preventive-maintenance replacement of mine for that reason.

You can get aftermarket hoses a little cheaper at FCP Groton. You can't use generic heater hose [as another poster suggests] since the hose has the smaller offshoot hose going to the turbo. If you had a N/A engine, you could use generic heater hose for this application.

Also, there were signs on the inner fender that coolant was squirting out that ver connection. I bought a new green Genuine Volvo cap for the tank, and it doesn't leak any more.

FYI I bought the fluid level sensor from mcmaster-carr as suggested in the FAQ, and am going to install it this weekend. I'll let you know how it goes -- I'm sure you'll be keen on doing the same if yours doesn't already have one.
