Electric antenae will not erect itself 900 1993

This morning, driving to work and I could not get good reception. I pulled over and found that my radio antenae was not going up. I made many radio on-off attempts, no-go on the antenae. No cycling, smoked noises or fuses, clicks, initiation noises or anything. I got home tonight, pulled apart trunk panels, found the antenae drive assembly, tested the large diameter black/ green wire and have a "hot feed" to the motor. There is a relay switch shown at U3 on the electric schematic in my Haynes manual-where is the switch located? In radio, in a connector? How can I quickly troubleshoot this problem. I do not want to throw parts at it to fix it.
Any helpful advice very appreciated,
R.E.C.
