Sad Day 900 1992

My mechanic still can't figure out why there is oil floating on top of the coolant in my expansion tank. BUT he finally looked for and found the source of the oil leak he thought he'd fixed a month ago when he replaced the filler cap gasket. BAD NEWS for my 960 wagon. He says that the bolts on the cover are stripped and leaking oil, or at least the one pictured is--and he expects other bolts would strip if he tried them. Showed me the cover with coils in place, surrounded by oil, and then how the 3rd sparkplug "bay" (I don't know the correct jargon) is filled with oil. Says a repair, possibly an entire head job would be prohibitively expensive. I guess I'll ask him to close her up and send her home. Will keep adding oil until she dies--or we find another vehicle. Not sure how to attach the image, but it's address seems to be
