paint 200

I have an 1989 244, in ok shape, but the paint is looking pretty dismal. Bought this car maybe 2 years back, and didn't fully notice then that the gold paint is fading here and there, and is generally uneven. It looks whitish and hazy in spots, and if you look really closely, you can see all these fine lines. Is the clearcoat coming off here, or is this just oxidation? Can anything be done to rejuvenate this paint, or should i think about getting her repainted? Also, any idea what a respectable repaint should cost? Thanks for any advice Bricksters!
