Should I Do My Own Clutch? 200 1981

1981 242 B21F M46

Well folks, it looks like my clutch is gasping for its last breath. It slips in 2nd and 3rd gear driving around town, maybe once a day, and has been getting more frequent. It's not like the RPMs go really high without the car moving, it feels more like *CLUNK CLUNK CLUNK* from the rear end when I try to accellerate. Almost like I just ran over a big pothole.

Anyway, since I have brand new motor & transmission mounts, as well as a new center driveshaft bushing, I'm thinking the clutch is to blame for this, and several people agree with me here.

So, is it feasable to do my own clutch job?
If so, who should I buy parts from?
Any specific tools that would make this job easier?

Please help!
-Adam
