rack and pinion replacement - questions 900 1992

I will be replacing the r&p on this car soon.

So seriously, how much work is involved for the DIYer in the garage with the car on stands?

I've often changed tie rods, but never went into the steering shaft joint nor the ps hoses at the rack. As I would expect, undo the tie rod ends, remove the splash pan (maybe the sway bar too), undo and cap hoses (new washers?), undo the steering column shaft joint, unbolt the rack and drop it.

Right?
Am I missing anything, to think that's all and I can plan a Saturday morning (9-12) for the job?

The rack I would install would be a rebuilt lifetime warranty rack complete with inner/outer tie rods and boots. Price 350$ canadian (220 US$), pick up near my place no delivery, included is the exchange of my current rack. Is that a normal deal?

I'm worried about a junker rack, the car is immaculate showroom and has an original 60K miles. NO CLUE why this happened on that car. My 240 has over 200K and still original.

Can I buy the rack end bushings to repair their existing rack?

Let me know,
