Doing coolant switch mod, sound, but no light when tested 700 1988

I was first having trouble to see which connector position the wire from the switch goes to. Finally I just traced the circuitry wire from pos 15(the exhaust temperature pos) and found it goes to pos 12 on the "C" connector. Well, I got it all hooked up correctly, but when I test it, I only get sound from the buzzer, but no exhaust light, I looked at the bulb and switched it with a good one, but still no luck. I just thought of this now, but maybe I installed the buzzer wrong? I just connected the black wire to the one going to the coolant and the red to the "C" connector. Any help would be appreciated!
