Leaking ATF cooling line 200 1986

I discovered the source of a leak in my ATF cooling line where it is clamped to the undercarriage. Due to loose fit in the bracket, vibration has worn the line to the point of developing a small leak. What are some suggested repairs to the line. I read in the archives about making a replacement line from copper or steel tubing or using a compression fitting to seal the leak.
