Broken [brittle] vac hose to heater valve... 900

It was a pretty cold day (neede gloves), and I changed out my oil trap by removing the intake manifold. Gee, there's lots of stuff hidden under there!

Anyhoo, in the process of changing the heater hoses I snapped the tiny, brittle, black vacuum line right where it goes into the big rubber elbow in the firewall. I have about 1/8" protruding. I can't imagine it's a very pleasant job to fish a new one through -- is it possible to get some sort of rubber tubing that'll splice between the two broken pieces?

Can't drive it since the manifold's still off! Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Chris
