adding pre-pump 200 1976

The hole in the top of the tank on a non pre pump car is too small to accept the sender and pump. Best bet would be to find a junker with a prepump tank and swap it out. You might ask the local dealer to do a VIN check and see if recall 32 was ever done. Recalls are forever, and if it hasn't been done, and there is evidence of leakage around the drain plug or in tank filter plug, you get a new fuel tank. And the good news is, the original tank is no longer available, so you get the newer tank with a prepump.
