Rough Idle, low vacuum?

Okay, Car is a 1990 780T.

I just replaced the headgasket, intake and exhaust gaskets, replaced the cam with a VX3, reshimmed cam/valves.

The car idles very rough, and has only 10in of vacuum? I can't find a vacuum leak anywhere, even using the propane/brakecleaner type trick. Tach is almost rock solid,(no idle fluctuation) but the engine shakes and sounds like a harley! I replaced the plugs, cuz I had a set, and the ones in there weren't the newest things in the world.

If I drive the car, after about 2500rpm it runs like a top! I can get the usual ~20in of vacuum decelerating in gear...

The car HAS been sitting for about 6 months, with about 1/4 tank of gas. Could just bad gas be doing this?

Ideas?
