about only thing left: the differential? 120-130

Ok, after trying loads of stuff to stop the vibrating, I started to experiment with putting small weights onto the drive shaft where I thought the vibration originated. I concluded that it was STILL the drive shaft! I took took it to the shop (again) and we found a wee bit of play on the splines (where the two bits fit into each other). Apparently some of the rear-end bits have a teflon coating and thereby a slighlty tighter fit. So I bought a second-hand one with this coating, and got it balanced again (3rd time now) They ensured me it is 100% ok now.
At home I enthousiastly put it on the car, but at 90 km/h still a very slight vibration.
When I let it turn at this speed (with car on jacks) the gearbox and support bearing are smooth, but at the differential I can feel some shuddering. Might the dif be the problem now, bearings got to hot perhaps? Anyone? Aaaah...
