Flushing the ATF 900

I am a new owner of a 94 960. I was reading through the maintenance records of the car and have noticed that it seems that the transmission have not been flushed since 98. The records suggest that there ae occassion where they mechanic top up the transmission fluid.

My question is... Should I flush the transmission? Or should I wait for it to present problems in shifting?

I have been told that one can essentially dislodge stuff that has been gathered over the years, and whatever that is being dislodged could be pushed to places where it should not be. And so, it would be better to not flush the transmission. Is this true?

Thank you.
