87 240 Cold Start Problem 200 1986

i had very similar problems. the car would start, but after a few turns, died.
i had to start the car up to 4-5 times before i could drive away. when the a/c kicked in, the car would die again. only after driving it for a while, would the car drive ok. i replaced it with an amm that was cleaned with carb cleaner (only clean the filament). the car runs great, now. it starts right up the first time cool or warm outside. that solved my problem. hope this helps.
