'92 960 owner approaching 200K miles...no porosity problems!!! My inclination is that much of these problems were due to poor maintenance. not reguarly changing the coolant on an all-aluminum engine is just asking for trouble. the reports are too scattered to suggest that XX model year 960s are the culprits...in fact there have been a few reports on this board of mid to late '90s 960s having porosity issues.
