Gosh I'm posting too much....what does one BLACK spark plug mean? 200 1986

So my car, which is running incredibly poorly, has this problem: spark plugs for cylinders 2, 3, and 4 are all a nice light brown color, just what you'd expect. However, cylinder 1's plug is a dark black color, meaning rich mixture in that cylinder. this could be the cause of my serious engine issues, so my question is: what causes this in only one cylinder? bad injector putting too much gas through? as usual, any help is greatly appreciated!
