i frequently take mine to 5-5.5K RPM's but not in an abusive manner, i've never hit the rev limiter yet, but this engine just loves to keep pulling giving you that more smiles to the gallon feeling. at 194K it's just as strong as ever! i dont race my car but there's times when the right foot gets a little heavy.
