Low Voltage Help!!! 200 1981

My 1981 245 was running fine and as I was driving at night I noticed my dash lights looking very dim. I did some checking and realized my car was not charging and was running off the battery. I tried to "baby" it home by keeping headlights off, etc. and made it. I noticed power windows were barely moving and anything that created an extra load on system, like brake lights, would create a hum under hood in front of driver. What should I check??? Note: car had a dead battery approximately 6 months ago & I replaced it, but immediately discovered problem was actually faulty alternator belt. Also 25amp fuse holder over front left fender seems to be bubbled out, but I have previously cleaned contacts.
