1993 240 Wagon 200

I have a opportunity to buy a 1993 240 wagon with 83,000 miles on it.The color is silver with a charcoal interior, very good condition,It was purchased by the current owner less than 1 year ago from a volvo dealer in N.J.
The car is now in florida and the owner is asking $6,300 I think its a great car but he is way out of line on the price.What do you think would be a fair price.Consider that the car checked out mechanically.The person is moving out of state,I was thinking around $4,000.00?????
