I'm at a total lost here about this idle surge. 700 1992

HI all.

Well today i got under the hood to check out some things.

I unplug the amm and the car seemed to cough/hesitate so i turned off the car then plugged the amm back in, the car ran fine. My Check engine light did come on so i did the obd thing to clear the Check engine light. While doing so i got a code 1-2-1 which is faulty tps. I did hear a click when i turn the throttle by hand.

I checked the throttle body and there was no build up of crud there.

I thinking it's my rpm sensor but i'm not sure.

Ihave not checked the IAC but will check that tomorow.

When i tried to restart the car it would not start. Well i did kind of start but the car would half way come on the shut off. Kind of hesitating. Sounded like it was look for fuel or something. Any awful smell coming from the exhaust again too.

What about these relays that have been mentioned.
Where are these relays located?
Raion supression relay?
fuel pump relay?
Any others that my be suspect?
my car 92 745t
THANKS FOR EVERYONE HELP.
