ScanTech = ScamTech 200 1987

I would second SternDoggs advice about avoiding ScanTech. Too many people have purchased bad parts with the ScanTech name on them. If it says ScanTech on the part or the box, plan on replacing it sooner rather than later (and sometimes right away because the part doesn't fit the first time). They kind of remind me of a computer parts company named Boca. If I remember correctly, back in the mid-late 1990s Boca would buy HUGE loads of discount computer parts and re-box them with their name. They were happy with their suppliers as long as 60% or more of the parts would last the 1-year warranty.

Regarding the similar signatures, I just about busted a gut laughing when I Kamakunga's. Not that it's mocking SternDoggs, but it's a nice real-world signature for those of us who can't afford to dump huge amounts of money into our cars (that's what tuition and student loans are for). As for myself, the only mentionable upgrades I've done on my car so far are Turbo Swaybar, 15" Omegas, GT-Aussie upper braces, removed TCB, yellow headlight tinting, and the rust-colored ground effects on my rocker panels (free with Michigan winters).

God bless,
Fitz Fitzgerald.
