Normal voltage values? 1800

Steve,

What you have isn't alarming, but I'd want to see more like 13.8 or 13.9 running, and less of a drop under load -- you may have to rev higher than idle to keep the voltage fully up when loaded; that's normal. Make really sure the negative battery cable and the ground strap on the bellhousing are making perfect connections at both ends, for a start.

What Don said about checking for drains. Check how much amperage your meter is rated for, though, and start on the highest scale (don't ask me how I know).
