central locking system 900 1995

I have a 1995/960 w/180,000 miles on it. The central locking system has been slowly going bad (short range)and now only locks but doesn’t unlock. It doesn’t unlock with the key fob or turning the key. The key only unlocks the driver door. On my 850 if I turn the key 2 times it unlocks all the doors but no luck with this one.
Where is the devise in the car and is it fixable? I am pretty handy.
