ignition timing 120-130 1968

Without advance timing light you can get timing very close by holding revs around 3500 and advancing until plugs begin to break down, then slowly retard until it smooths out, this gets total advance fairly close.Make sure bobweights and vacuum are operating.Adjusting timing at idle usually ends up advanced.
