Didn't have to remove box 700

I didn't have to remove it. I drove the car over to a friends and had him hold the flapper to the heater side( compressing the spring) and then pulled out the old one. Then with flapper still being held against hot air port I used a little pushing and got the longer working one in. Let go of the flapper and it stayed closed over the hot air port as it should since the engine and ambient air was warm.
