B234F exhaust vs. B230F exhaust 700 1992

I am looking into getting a new cat-back exhaust for my 1992 940 GLE B234F (91 US model). Note the B234F, the 16 valve engine.

Looking through some part lists and comparing part numbers I see the main differences in exhausts are the front muffler to catalytic areas...

So what are the actual differences? pipe diameter at cat and front muffler? I can't see how pipes and clamps can be any different, the cars are the same.

The reason why I am investigating this is because prior to me buying this car three years ago the complete exhaust (downpipe to rear) was replaced with aftermarket, and given the rareness of B234Fs out there I am wondering if a B230F exhasut was put in place. Since I am now looking to get just the cat back system, I want to be sure what I buy will fit my current cat pipe.

Hoping someone with knowledge here can help.

Thanks!
